Football and Cheer Registration

Most of the kids are already registered.
Remaining registrations will be taken depending on what teams have space available. Flag football registrations will be taken as many as we can to add additional teams for ages 5, 6, & 7, from 60-80lbs. It is suggested that 7yr olds that have played flag move to tackle for the Widget Jr. team which is first year tackle players only.

 Registration Information
Registrations for  Football and Cheerleading will be taken at the Old Town Hall on Saturday, March 3rd 8am - 2pm.

 $125 for Flag Football/Cheer & $250 for Tackle Football/Cheer per child.  Plus the $100 participation fee per family which is refundable after working 8 hours of participation of which, 4 hrs must be in the concession stand. 
NO Equipment will be given out if for some reason your fees are not paid in full.
NO Equipment will be given to those on the waiting lists.

Lacrosse registrations will also be taken at the Old Town Hall. Lacrosse registration fee is $250. More information is on the Lacrosse page.

Waiting Lists
Some teams will be capped due to numbers. These teams will have kids put on the waiting lists for spots that may become available.

Famliy Participation fee - Each family in football or cheerleading must pay a family participation fee of $100. This fee is refunded as long as 8 hours of participation time is completed. 4 hours of your participation time must be done in the concession stand. Some examples are working concessions, grill, garbage, fund-raising and more. Only one participation fee per family.

Football and Cheerleading 
Registration fee for flag football and cheer is $125. Flag games are played on Saturday mornings and Friday night under the lights.   
Flag football is for ages 5, 6, and 7 if under 70 lbs. Last year we had six flag football teams with about 15 kids per team. Football players need to purchase their own spikes(not metal and non-detachable), cup, practice pants and jersey. Players that are 7 should think about moving to tackle so they are with others that are playing tackle for the first time.  
Flag Cheerleading is for Kindergarten and First grade only. 

Tackle Football -  Tackle football for players 60 lbs through 170 lbs are divided to teams based on weight in order to keep kids playing with the same weight class throughout the league. Football players need to purchase their own spikes(not metal and non-detachable), cup, practice pants and jersey. The registration fee is $250 and includes a personalized jersey, equipment use for the season such as helmet, shoulder pads, pads, and game pants.

Cheerleading - Cheerleaders are grouped by age/grade. Alumni cheerleaders are reserved their spots for the first registration only since they are returning from last year. All remaining spots are filled on a first come basis. Registration fee is $250.

Quits
If your child has decided not to participate after they have registered you must fill out a quit form.  The form can be obtained on July 28th during equipment handout or at any board meeting before practice starts for 100% refund minus any online fee for registration. Any refund requests after equipment pick-up through August 9th will get a refind minus 25% and fees if registered online. We do not accept an email saying I quit.  This form must be filled out and a refund will then be issued.  Remember in order to get a 100% refund you must quit by
 July 28th during equipment handout .  After equipment pick-up you will receive less 25% that was paid for registration.
